BRVNELLI, a Dairy Manufacturing Company established in Rome, Italy, in 1938. Since 1987, year of completion of the main manufacturing plant of the company, meant to be the largest sheep milk manufacturing plant in central Italy, and foundation of BRUNELLI SUD S.p.A., a partnership has been formed with the parent company R.BRUNELLI S.p.A., closely operating together in the Italian sheep's milk industry so far, sharing a common goal: to let consumers worldwide appreciate the delicate taste of cheeses branded BRVNELLI. As business core product, the PECORINO ROMANO DOP, made in the local area of Lazio, which gave birth to this typical Italian hard cheese from sheep's milk more than 2000 years ago.As a unique place of seasoning there's Ancient Natural Tufa Caves dating back to the Etruscan-Roman Time, cheese aging premises where the wheels of cheese, dry-salted only, still now as in the past are kept ripening 1 year minimum up to 18 months, to be respectful to Ancient Romans' cheese-making traditions. BRVNELLI has been certified by the DET NORSKE VERITAS -DNV- International Organization for the highest standards of product quality, issueing the following certificates: ISO 9001, ISO 22000, BRC, IFS.
