Anjeed means "our own" in Bajju, one of the 18 languages of Kaduna State, Nigeria. Innova is an abbreviation of the word innovation, based on the Latin root "to change". Together these words communicate the company vision for Africa's future: to ally with the community in creating and designing solutions and implementing changes that will transform the society for better.As social entrepreneurs, the principals at Anjeed Innova want to empower the communities we serve through social development and human capital development. Our goal is to transform the societal economic, environmental and social structure.We create sustaining value to by working at the grassroots level through training unskilled labourers to work within our energy projects, and we hope not only to build community infrastructure, but also give communities a sense of pride and ownership.
