WorldCity is a Miami-based multimedia company founded in 1998 to connect local communities to the burgeoning global economy through forums, publications and digital content. In South Florida, WorldCity hosts two exclusive event series, the CEO Club for the top local executive working for the top firms among the 1,400 multinationals in the company's proprietary Who's Here database, and HR Connections for the top human resources executives at those same multinationals. It also hosts two panel discussions, Global Connections, founded in 2001 to bring together the international business community in South Florida, and Trade Connections, which focuses on the $125 billion import-export market. In addition, WorldCity hosts two larger events spun off from those events, the annual two-day HR Americas event and the annual World Trade Month Opening Luncheon, a Trade Connections event at which the company launches its annual Miami TradeNumbers publication. Each year, the company also produces an annual Who's Here publication, with a list of all the multinationals. In addition to its Miami efforts, WorldCity publishes a number of export-import TradeNumbers publications for communities, ports and countries, including Los Angeles and Dallas-Fort Worth, Mexico and China, Perishables and the United States.
