The Little Giraffe Foundation was founded by Mike and Amanda Santoro in March 2011 after the loss of their preemie daughter, Cheyenne. Little Giraffe Foundation is dedicated to both funding neonatal research and supporting patients and families of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).We have reached thousands of families by way of holiday gift bags filled with books and toys. When an infant is in an incubator and too sick for a parent to hold, reading a book to the child may be the only way for the parent to connect.
