My experience with Hatha Yoga started in 1979, and I have been working at it most of the time since then. My approach to Hatha Yoga is that it should be done slowly. That each asana (posture) should be held for as long as is comfortable for each student. This method allows one to get the most out of the asana. In this way it is possible for each student to get the maximum from the posture (given their level of ability.
