The solution has been designed to provide operational marketing services to MMR, Retail Chains and Merchant Chains in order to make again promotional and loyalty initiatives a sustainable and self-manageable business for the Merchants and more transparent/convenient for the Consumers.BME has been designed also to dramatically improve the management of the commercial cycle of food subject to deterioration in the final phase of distribution at the Stores of MMR and Retail Chains. It redesigns the management and automation of expiring food with the help of IoT and mobile technologies, introducing automated commercial/handling processes and subordinating it to a promotional process where the Consumer is fully involved.BME will provide a decentralized infrastructure (based on Ethereum platform) in which the Merchant can define a set of flexible rules (SmartContracts) , securely and transparently during the validation and the accounting of the coupons and the loyalty transactions, efficiently with a dramatic cost reduction.This project is the first phase of an extensive Blockchain Marketing platform with the aim of:- providing new business models more competitive and viral;- increase time-to-market and sustainability of promotional initiatives for the merchants;- strongly reviewing/reducing intermediaries' role in transactions thanks to the decentralization of processes;- shortening of the value chain.
