MAFLON® was founded in 1996 thanks to a research projectdeveloped together with the Fluorine Chemistry Laboratory ofPadua University.This research project was focused, since the beginning, onfluorinated products and their application. MAFLON® has theappropriate coating solution for surfaces such as leather, textile,stone, tile, wood, providing a durable and transparent treatmentwhile creating a highly effective protective barrier againstdifferent agents as oils, water, coffee, food products andbeverages.MAFLON® also produces a wide range of fluorinated surfaceactive agents to give excellent wetting, spreading and levelingproperties in coating, cleaners and waxes systems.Fluorosurfactants may be also used in polishes, inks, adhesivesand in all applications where surface tension is a fundamentalparameter to determine the performance of the final products.Today MAFLON® includes a research team leading the R&Dactivities cooperating closely with some of the most importantuniversities specialised in Fluorine Chemistry. All the R&Dactivities are developed in the laboratories located in theheadquarters in the northern part of Italy.
