Journal to Health is a new online journaling site that will launch in early 2014. We call it "a site for self-discovery" because we agree with Aristotle, that "knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom." In my private practice, I've found that self-knowledge is the key to realizing your full potential. After all, how can you know what you're capable of until you know who you are? JTH was developed for people in therapy, not in therapy, and for therapists who want to offer their clients a proven tool to use between sessions. Evidence shows that writing on a regular basis offers many benefits, some of which include: improved mental, physical and emotional health; enhanced focus, clarity and perspective; reduced stress and anxiety; and greater success in achieving one's goals. Note: You don't have to be struggling with traumatic issues to benefit from Journal to Health. It's also an ideal site to help you recover from the daily grind by restoring your energy, exploring new ideas or giving your creativity a workout.
