Included are submariners from pre-WWII through those serving in the fleet today and our members range from the deckplate enlisted up thru 4 Stars. Retired, Honorably Discharged, Active Duty or Reserve - All are welcome regardless of rank or rate. If you are Qualified in Submarines we want you in United States Submarine Veterans Inc. We have 150+ local Bases (chapters) from Pearl Harbor to Portsmouth, NH and two online Internet bases. Our members are from every state in the Union. In addition to the regional and district meetings throughout the year we also hold a National Convention in a different city every year. We publish the finest submarine veteran related magazine to be had anywhere for our membership.If you want to learn submarine history from the people who wrote it, tell or hear sea stories from Pre-WWII, WWII, Korea, Viet Nam, Cold War or right now, USSVI is the place to do it. If you want to find shipmates, plan or attend a boat reunion, eat, drink, or just share that common bond that never goes away, USSVI is the place do do so.Join a local chapter or become a member at large and help us support the memorials that honor the memory of the 4,000+ men who gave their lives in submarines. If we submarine men do not do so, no one else will either.And, in the process you will reconnect with old shipmates and find new ones, all connected by that small shiny pin that we all treasure.
