Thousands of women in India lack an opportunity to earn. While in poverty, they fail to educate their children and fail to live a life of dignity & respect. YellowBag Foundation makes cloth bags from cotton, jute, and other sustainable materials for international brands. This empowers women, creates fair earning opportunities, and enhances self-esteem for women while facilitating the consumption of sustainable products.All our bags are made by our network of tailors "Tulasi Women Tailoring Network". This is a network of women who run small tailoring units or work at social impact-focused garment-making facilities. Our women are well trained to make international quality products meeting international compliance needs like GOTS & Fair Trade. We have quality systems to make sure the bags are made to the specifications.For our women, children are their purpose in life. We run post-school activity centers for children in the communities we work. Our children & mentors follow a customized curriculum designed by experts. The curriculum builds the confidence and skills of hundreds of children.
