Sexual Violence Center (SVC) supports youth and adult victim/survivors of sexual violence 12 years of age and older. We provide services to individuals living in Carver, Hennepin, and Scott counties. SVC offers a range of free services to support victims and survivors through the crisis and trauma caused by sexual violence, including:-24-hour crisis support telephone line: staffed by trained advocates-Individual, in-person counseling: intensive, directed support to victims & survivors-Support groups: for victims & survivors, as well as their friends & family -Crisis support in hospitals: to provide support through forensic exams (evidence collection for the "rape kit"​)-Legal advocacy: to advocate for resources needed to file restraining orders, navigate the criminal justice system and get connected to legal representation-Community education: breaking the silence surrounding sexual violenceIf sexual violence has impacted your life, the Sexual Violence Center is here to support you.
