Youth are in distress because of the pandemic. Suicide is now the second leading cause of death. 2 out of every 3 teens has experienced trauma. 4 out of every 5 teens is thinking about suicide, and these numbers are rising. The mental health solutions in the market today are not meeting this rising need. There are barriers such as stigma, access, transportation and even availability.We deliver a medicine-free approach to mental health support called peer support. We deliver this evidence based support through certified peer recovery specialists. Youth & young adults connect through our HIPAA compliant mobile app. A peer recovery specialist is someone who has survived a mental health challenge. They are close in age with the person they are supporting. As a survivor, they connect on a level clinicians may not be able to today. Specialists are trained and certified by state mental health departments.
