Our awards included:• Surgical Site Infections - Hip Replacement 45 + Months 09/2012 - 06/2016• Surgical Site Infections - Knee Replacement 45 + Months 09/2012 - 06/2016• Surgical Site Infections - Abdominal Hysterectomy 24 + Months 09/2012 - 09/2014• CLABSI ICU Only 18 + Months 09/2012 - 05/2014Only 40 hospitals were honored for the entire state of South Carolina – and of those healthcare facilities, just 17 were honored with the 45+ month awards. Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center received TWO!Ownership: We are partially owned by physicians, providing a personal investment in this community hospital. Our other ownership is by RCCH Healthcare Partners. Based in Brentwood, Tennessee, RCCH HealthCare Partners is made up of 16 regional health systems located in 12 states. Affiliation with the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC):Our affiliation with MUSC here at Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center began in 2015.
