Crossing the Jordan is a local non-profit in Sonoma County. It is our mission to seek out those in our community that are suffering and invite them to a life filled with faith and love. We deeply desires to meet those in need in their places of hopelessness and to remind them they have a hope and a future. The organization was founded by Michael and Dana Bryant in 2011. Together, they had a vision, birthed through their own testimonies. The vision was to open a long term residential program, specifically for women and mothers, equipping them with recovery education, life skills, leadership training, executive level management opportunities, vehicles and permanent housing assistance; all needed to transition to a successful, promising future for those seeking to completely transform their lives.Today, Crossing the Jordan owns and operates four large thrift stores and a large textile recycling operation. We are nearly fully funded through our industries and we do not receive government funding of any kind. All store managers, program managers and corporate staff include Crossing the Jordan graduates. They truly run the corporation. And we have been so very blessed.
