Huntingtower School (founded in 1927), situated in Mount Waverley, is a Christian values co-educational school of around 750 students from Kindergarten to Year 12. Our motto is "Nosce te Ipsum" or "Know thy true self". Huntingtower is a school committed to building community and encouraging students to understand who they are while embracing their unlimited potential. Huntingtower aims is to provide a quality education based on spiritual and moral principles while encompassing a strong academic and co-curricular program. Its mission is to be a beneficial presence in the world and to uplift thought.Our core philosophy is to nurture independent and thoughtful individuals with strong values. Huntingtower's students are well-rounded and of strong character, thanks to our friendly and supportive environment, which allows young minds to grow and achieve their personal best.We provide a broad and dynamic curriculum, encouraging academic excellence while maintaining a strong pastoral care structure that ensures the academic and personal needs our students are met.As well as offering 26 VCE subjects, Huntingtower has an impressive range of co-curricular programs such as music, debating, drama, theatre, public speaking, sports, outdoor education and leadership development.Extensive facilities include our new Performing Arts Centre, multi-sport fitness centre and swimming pool, senior and junior gymnasiums, soccer field, football and cricket oval, tennis courts and brand-new Hockey Astroturf.Central to Huntingtower's ethos is a sense of community, along with academic and sporting achievement, we pride ourselves on our kind, loving and inclusive learning environment, all set in parklike grounds.
