The National Academy on an Aging Society's mission is to provide objective analysis and timely, policy-relevant information about the challenges and opportunities arising from the aging of America's and the world's population. As the nonpartisan public policy institute of The Gerontological Society of America, the Academy actively synthesizes evidence-based research and promising practices on issues related to aging, and disseminates it to the public, press, and policymakers. The Academy's publications include the quarterly Public Policy & Aging Report as well as research briefs, fact sheets, and e-newsletters covering a broad range of aging issues.
