Pronounced Mah-DEE-dus. It's Latin and means something related to our business. So we went with it. Madidus Importers is based in Washington, D.C. with affiliates in Chicago and San Francisco. We represent a portfolio of unique and fine wines, liquors, and beers from around the world. We focus on smaller than normal producers to help identify and bring their product to new markets. Our goal is to bring quality, hard to find, and unique wine, spirits, and beer to the U.S. market, and assist smaller producers in marketing their products. Since we have studied with the Court of Master Sommeliers, we also want to help those in the restaurant and retail industry to discover new and exciting products.
