Lawton First Assembly is interdenominational in makeup and strategically aligned with the Assemblies of God; known for it's creative approach to ministry. Lawton First uses the latest technology to deepen the worship and message portion of our services.Lawton First Assembly, located in Lawton, Oklahoma, is affiliated with the Assemblies of God, the largest Pentecostal denomination in the world. The beginning of our rich heritage can be traced to the southwest corner of 5th and "G" when the first church was built in 1925. Since then the church has grown from a faith hundred to more than 2000 with people from all over the world and some who have grown up right here in Lawton.Over the past 80 years of ministry, Lawton First has been blessed with many ordinary people who God used to build an extraordinary church. Yes, we greatly value our history. It has made us who we are—a church of people firmly committed to being relevant for today through our worship, our teaching, and our compassionate ministry beyond our church walls.
