Cultural Resource Management Technician (Archaeology) at Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes - Pablo, Montana, United States
The CSKT are a federally recognized tribe pursuant to the ratification of the 1855 Hellgate Treaty which reserved the present 1.2 million-acre homeland. The CSKT adopted its constitution and bylaws in 1935 which established the current governing structure. In addition to the Tribal government of about 1200 employees, the CSKT owns and operates various business corporations. The current enrollment of tribal citizens is approximately 7,900 of which about two-thirds reside on the Flathead Indian Reservation in western Montana.
