My name is Richard Chew, but please call me Chewie.I've been working in Vancouver's service industry for most of my life and love it. I also love Southern comfort food and a few years back I got the idea to put my passion and experience into making fresh baked biscuits and buttermilk fried chicken - think big homemade biscuits loaded with fried chicken, sausage gravy, eggs, bacon and much more. I now have Chewie's Chicken & Biscuits - a little chicken joint slash brunch spot - in Kitsilano and I couldn't be happier.
