ABOUT The first no-kill animal shelter in Idaho, we are celebrating more than 30 years of saving animals' lives! MISSION We are on a mission to enrich the quality of life in our community by connecting animals and people through innovative programs that inspire and have impact beyond our borders. COMPANY OVERVIEW The Animal Shelter of the Wood River Valley, the first "no kill" shelter in Idaho, promotes companion animal welfare by providing temporary shelter for homeless animals, adopting them to qualified homes and reducing animal abuse, neglect and overpopulation through community education and spay/neuter services. Now celebrating its 30th year of operation, the Animal Shelter is funded almost entirely by private donations and grants.
