This was a company offering EMV second factor authentication services based in New York, as the US commercial arm of Prosisa Overseas L.L.C. I was responsible for the Smart Card reader/server system sales. A system that allowed the secure administration and button usage monitoring of up to 4 million units of the SmartEpad ® second factor authentication system to perform secure Internet access using client bank cards (EMV) tokens. As the board member heading strategy, I was able to interact with our local team to devise new applications for our product. With the help of an experienced local executive, we expanded from the Financial Industry and opened the loyalty market and a first client in the US health industry: PI-LLC succeeded in entering the first Smart Card based US hospital enrollment platform (Beverly Hospital in Boston, MA) using SmartEpad® for patient data entry. Integration of the SmartEpad® platform to the existing 150,000 smart card patient ID was successfully completed and on schedule. Successfully obtained EMV certification for Type One level Approved for the SmartEpad® smart card reader.
