42 Silicon Valley is disrupting engineering education in the Bay Area and beyond. We're an innovative education model with one of the most rigorous college-level program in the country. We're changing education access, diversity in tech, and talent pipelines. Both our high school program and our college-level program are free, meaning we have an incredibly diverse student population.42 does not have teachers, courses, or classes and students control what they learn, when they learn, and how they learn. We're changing higher education through project-based and peer-to-peer learning with gamification to develop students with real-world skills ready for the workplace. Students develop fundamental technical competencies and indispensable adaptability necessary for integration into the digital workforce. These technical competencies ultimately allow students to comprehend any programming language as well as allowing for each student to develop his or her own understanding of programming paradigms. In October 2017, we won a WISE award, a distinguished award for those innovating and impacting education on a global level. We partner with companies, startups, VCs, universities and colleges, high schools, organizations, and other NPOs working in education innovation.
