We use Chinese medicine to build community and heal the isolation that can arises when people don't feel well, feel alienated, or are marginalized. We are proud members of POCA, The People's Organization for Community Acupuncture. Our acupuncture clinic specializes in helping people recover and reclaim their health. One of the unique aspects of our clinic is our fees: our patients decide what to pay. Acupuncture & herbal consultations are priced on a sliding scale of $15-40. Our sliding scale rates allow patients to pay what fits their budgets and come in often enough to see results. So regardless of what you pay, whether you're between pay checks or feeling flush, you get effective, soothing care.Also unique to community acupuncture is the use of recliners, clustered in groups in an open, quiet space. Treating patients in a community setting has many benefits: it is easy for friends and family members to come in for treatment together; many patients find it comforting; and the collective environment established by the group treatments feels like it increases the effectiveness of the treatments.
