Gus Giordano Dance School has been teaching the highest quality of dance instruction since 1953. Classes are offered in all styles: Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Modern, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Pointe, Ballroom & More. We train students from age 2 to professional dancers. Gus Giordano Dance School has trained more dancers than any other institution in the Chicagoland area. Founded by Gus & Peg Giordano, and currently under the direction of Amy Giordano, this family run business provides the best training to prepare their students to excel in dance and in life. We offer classes for dancers in all levels (beginners to advanced) ranging in age from 2 to 92! Our GUS Company dancers (5 to19 yrs) train in all dance styles and learn how to multitask, work with others, and mentor their peers. GUS Company members perform numerous times throughout the season. Performances include Dance Chicago, Chicagoland Schools, Senior Centers, Navy Pier, North Shore Center for the Performing Arts & many more. Auditions for the GUS Company program are held in June. Summer Programs: Camps (1 week), GUS Intensive, JAZZ Intensive, Ballet Intensive, Leaps, Tricks & Turns Intensive, & College/Pro Month Intensive.
