Our church is was established in 1807, in what was known as the Bloomingdale section of Manhattan. We have a vibrant music program, including professional, parish and children's choir programs. Services are offered during Sunday morning and evening, with daily morning prayer services. Our Saturday Soup kitchen runs 52 weeks a year, providing a nutritious, hot meal to all. From Sept -- May we offer our "Wednesday Night Bistro", where you can enjoy a professionally prepared menu at reasonable cost. Our Cemetery was established in 1852 by the Rector of St. Michael's Church, the Rev. Thomas McClure Peters, and is one of the oldest religious, nonprofit cemeteries in the New York City metropolitan area which is open to people of all faiths. The cemetery is approximately 88 acres in size and can serve the community for in-ground burials, mausoleum space, niche space and a four retort crematory with a chapel for services.
