After After graduating from the London College of Fashion, Hande Cokrak worked in the ready-to-wear industry for several years, holding posts in design teams of leading ready to wear brands, before creating her own contemporary fashion label ‘Maid in Love' in 2011. Maid in Love comes out of Istanbul as a colorful, fun, fresh and extraordinary brand. The brand's aim is not to dress, but rather to cater to women who enjoy getting dressed and can convey their humor through their style. Maid in Love aims to always look beyond the ordinary, while retaining a positive outlook on life. Seeing the beauty within the odd and unearthing originality in one's style is at the heart of this brand's creations. Targeting women with self-confidence, Maid in Love hopes to portray your individuality through your own sense of style.Hande has been awarded the "Paris Capitale de la Creation" prize, given by Who's Next Paris, in 2014. Just shortly after, Maid in Love was also awarded the prestigious "Mediterranean Fashion Prize'', long lastingly supported by major fashion houses, most notably Chanel and Dior. Most recently, Hande Cokrak was the "Mercedes-Benz Presents" designer of the season at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Istanbul this past October showing her Spring Summer 2015 collection.
