The Greater Charitable Foundation was established in 2011 with an initial allocation of $1 million by Greater Bank on behalf of its members & staff. The Foundation funds practical, life-changing initiatives which directly support families & communities in NSW & South East QLD. It does so by partnering with Australian-based charitable organisations, throughout Greater Bank's area of operations, to provide significant opportunities designed to improve life outcomes. Since its inception, the Foundation has partnered with more than 30 Australian based charitable organisations to deliver a range of programs designed to support children, young adults & families. A key platform of the Foundation's activities is the involvement of Greater Bank staff in funded projects through volunteering, mentoring and probono assistance. Annually, more than 200 Greater Bank employees give over 1,000 hours of their time to our charity partners.
