We are a not-for-profit organization that provides free computers to Hamilton children who would not have an opportunity otherwise to own one. The computers that we giveaway are donated to us by local businesses and organizations who would otherwise scrap their end of use equipment. Over the past 13 years, we have given over 3500 computers away with the help of such agencies as The Children Aid Society of Hamilton, The Hamilton Big Brothers and Sisters Chapter, Cathy Wever School, Horizon Utilities, the Hess Street School, and the HARRRP Foundation. In addition to donating computers, we also provide the opportunity for at risk adults with the chance to obtain their COMP TIA A plus Certification. Our Commitment: 1. All end-of-life equipment will be disposed of in an environmentally conscious manner. 2. All organizational asset tags will be removed from donated items. 3. All donated hard drives will be fully erased in a secure manner. 4. All donors will be recognized for their contributions. How To Donate: 1. Contact the GreenByte office at (905) 387-8389 between 10:00am to 3:00pm from Monday to Friday or email us at: mbooth@slsh.ca. 2. Make an appointment for pick-up of donations or drop off your donations at 35 King Street East (Unit #9) in Hamilton from 10:00am to 5:00pm.
