Miller Diversified formerly known as Miller Farm & Greenhouse Company, was founded in Toledo, Ohio in 1920. The company was originally a 300 acre vegetable farm at the corner of Dorr & Secor Roads of Toledo. In 1946, Norman Miller took leadership of the company and continued its operation as a vegetable truck farm until 1956. As Toledo grew, urban development began to absorb farm property and Norman Miller changed the focus of the company to residential and commercial real estate development.Norman Miller became the sole owner and operator of the company, developing an industry-wide reputation for intelligence, honesty and integrity. Through this reputation and business acumen, Norman Miller established Miller Farm & Greenhouse Company as one of Toledo's premier and long-standing real estate developers.Miller Diversified began trading as such in 1980 to better represent who they had grown to be. Norman's sons, Kurt and Jerry Miller joined forces with their father during this time, each bringing their own area of expertise to propel the company forward. Under the guidance of Kurt Miller, Miller Diversified Construction was formed to compliment the development business by providing construction management services for both commercial/industrial and residential projects.
