The British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK) was formed with the intent to educate the public on the practice of kinesiology, act as a resource for those seeking service from a kinesiologist, and provide an opportunity for practicing professionals to network and extend their knowledge of the field.Since 1991, BCAK has been an incorporated society under the B.C. Society Act governed by a volunteer board of directors. Currently over 500 kinesiologists serving the public and major employers such as ICBC, Worksafe BC, many national insurers and municipalities throughout the province.
