Navachetana Microfinance Services Private Limited (NMSPL) is a non-banking finance company that extends micro-loans to poor women who are excluded from mainstream banking services. NMSPL loans enhance not only the livelihoods of borrowers, but also the lives of their family members. NMSPL loans are distributed to individuals on a group-guaranteed basis. Each of these Joint-Liability Groups (JLGs) is composed of five women, and group members ensure that all individual loans are repaid in weekly installments.
