PROVIDENT TOOL & DIE was incorporated in May of 1994. In October 1995 we erected a new building in Wakarusa, a small town in rural Northwestern IN, but central to Chicago, Detroit, & Indianapolis. In 2005, we doubled the size of the building. Currently, we are expanding for the 3rd time at the same location.PROVIDENT TOOL is non-union, family owned job shop & has found our specialty in the manufacturing of various assemblies for machine tool builders. We have diversified interests & customers that span from musical instruments, medical, auto, to machine tool builders.We currently have 9 employees with over 200 years of machining experience and continue to stay current with the latest machine tool technology. Our list includes: Wire EDM, CNC machine centers & turning centers.PROVIDENT TOOL has now added a product line that we produce from start to finish. In September of 2010, we purchased TURNOMAT COMPANY, a forty-seven year old company that was located in Farmington, NY. We are a manufacturer of LINEAR MOTION DEVICES that we sell not only nationwide, but internationally we are constantly growing. We relocated the company to the Midwest to be more centrally located and closer to our customer & supplier base. TURNOMAT operates as a division of PROVIDENT TOOL & DIE.
