AlgaEnviro is the manufacturer of Diatomix in Australia. Diatomix enhances the growth of diatom algae in any waterbody. Getting rid of polluting nutrients like ammonia, nitrate and phosphate so that blue-green algae (cyanobacteria) blooms and water weeds like hyacinth, salvinia, azolla and duckweed are no longer a problem.Diatomix works in aquaculture, wastewater, stormwater, water reservoirs and natural water bodies like rivers and lakes. The polluting nutrients are the source of many water quality issues when unwanted algae or weed growth takes over. If the algae bloom crashes and dies then this may lead to a fish kill so this must be avoided as well.With Diatomix use, the naturally occurring diatom algae will use up the problem causing nutrients, and out-compete the other algae and weeds.
