ISIS Arts is a visual and media arts organisation, running an international programme of commissions, residencies and events. ISIS Arts works with partners internationally to support artistic exchange of ideas across borders. Our mission is to bring great contemporary art to audiences that will be less likely to experience it and to engage artists whose work explores our societal and environmental relationships. ISIS Arts works with artists and organisations from around the world to create an international platform for artistic collaboration and audience engagement. We are committed to both supporting local artists internationally and to brining artists from all over the world to the North East through our international residency programme. ISIS Arts believes in the important role which art plays in our identity formation and sense of belonging and advocates placing art and culture at the heart of public debate and decision-making.
