Wakadogo is a grassroots charity, registered in the United Kingdom, Canada and Uganda. We believe that education is the most powerful and effective way to change lives. In 2009 we built Wakadogo school; a nursery and primary school in a remote village in Gulu, northern Uganda that serves over 450 boys and girls. The charity was founded in 2005 when three women decided they wanted to do something small to help a group of forgotten children. This was the first school to open in this village and we have been on an incredible journey with the community ever since. Together, we're making a difference to these children's lives. We can do even more with your help. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us!
