Dr. Saım Karakas is an M.D of Neurology, Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry . His clinical practice spans neurology and psychiatry with a special focus on Neuropsychiatry, the study of mental disorders attributable to diseases of the nervous system. Dr. Karakas earned his M.D. at the Bogomolets School of Medicine, where he also completed a double-board residency in Neurology and Psychiatry. and fıve years Neurophysiology/Epilepsy fellowship at CUNY Sophıe Davıs Bıomedıcal School Department of Neurophysiology . He previously served as the Unit Chief of the Outpatient Geriatric Psychiatry and medical Psychiatry Clinic at Akhunbaev State Medıcal Unıversıty and affiliated with the NYU Behavıoral Neurology at NYU Langone Medıcal Center for stroke research .
