Projectcoördinator at De Werkplaats, Buurthuis De Mussen - The Hague, South Holland, Netherlands
Many inhabitants of the The Hague area De Schilderswijk are unintentionally unemployed due to various causes. To tackle this issue, De Mussen has initiated the project 'The Workshop' in which mentors (volunteers) are linked to unemployed residents to support them in their search for work. The project was set up with contributions from the VSB Fund, the municipality of The Hague and the Interreg program of the European Union.'The Workshop' is part of the PACE project (Providing Access to Childcare and Employment). This cross-border EU program aims to support jobseekers in their journey to find work by facilitating access to childcare, encouraging parent involvement and guiding them towards a job. PACE is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).Want to help? We are still looking for The Hague based jobs for our highly motivated mentees. If you want to co-operate, please send an email to dewerkplaats@demussen.nl.
