The Notre Dame Turbomachinery Laboratory (NDTL) is a University of Notre Dame and South Bend, Indiana-based research and development facility that combines the benefits of a vibrant academic research program with a mid-TRL development/validation test facility serving the aerospace and power generation industries.NDTL works on the leading edge of component aerodynamics, structural dynamics, instrumentation, and computational methods. The NDTL team supports the transition of advanced technologies required for the next-generation of gas-turbine engines through early-stage research onto the products of its customers. NDTL is currently involved in research and product development for a variety of sponsors and collaborators from all over the world.
