Today's children are learning skills to prepare them for tomorrow's opportunities. Our enthusiastic staff genuinely care about children and have a strong interest in Early Childhood Education. Excel Preparatory Preschool Academy (Excel Prep) was designed for young scholars to excel and do so in an engaging and exciting atmosphere. Our staff creates learning environments where learning is a joyful and rewarding experience that maintains the integrity of each child's imagination and natural curiosity. Our young scholars engage in play that encourages literacy actions and specific languages advancing their social and intellectual growth. We build each scholar's sense of individual worth and belonging as part of a community. Excel's STEAM based program develops appropriate cognitive, emotional, social and creative skills for each unique scholar while having fun learning. Our teachers strive to become expert observers of children to understand their level of learning and consider what steps to take given children's individual needs. Excel's STEM Center provides an onsite Museum like experience that boasts with tons of exciting learning opportunities and ensures that our young scholars are always eager and excited to learn. Our focus is on meeting the needs of individual children while honoring and respecting the role that teachers play in making learning engaging and meaningful for every child. The ten areas of learning and development will be incorporated into a play atmosphere. Play at Excel Prep is established through materials, environment and a teacher/coach model.
