Volunteer Centre Merton is the lead organisation in Merton for the promotion, recruitment and management of volunteers in our community. We work with a wide range of organisations in the public, voluntary and community sectors to develop and match the skills and interests of new volunteers to volunteering opportunities. We deliver good practice support to organisations involving volunteers in their work, and provide information and advice about volunteering alongside training for organisations and volunteers. Working closely with voluntary and community organisations and our Compact partners in Merton (the partnership between government and the voluntary sector), we lead on campaigns to raise awareness of volunteering, to gain recognition for the contribution of volunteers and to highlight issues that affect volunteers. We aim to make volunteering rewarding and accessible to everyone.
