As the original high school for Gosford, Gosford High School has a long and impressive history with the local community. The school was identified as an academically selective school in the early 90s and has remained as the only completely coeducational academically selective high school on the Central Coast.Gosford High School has a unified vision to ensure that all students have the very best of opportunities in both curricular and curriculum enrichment activities. This is realised by motivating our students through effective wellbeing programs and strong learning connections with the community, universities, business and industry in a supportive environment which is challenging and future focused.The result of this vision is a supportive and caring learning environment that nurtures and encourages a lifelong love of learning.
