When my wife and I first met in 2011, she just returned from living in Australia for the past 13 years. We had a slight language barrier since Australians use different, and often humorous terms to explain certain items. Some examples are: Budgie Smuggler = Speedos for men Trolley = a shopping cart Bench = a place to prepare food, not something to sit on Sparrow's Fart = it's Dawn We both grew up on the comedic stylings of Monty Python, Benny Hill, Rowan Atkinson, George Carlin and Richard Pryor! Ensemble shows such as Saturday Night Live with The Original Not Ready For Prime Time Players, Second City TV, MAD TV, The IT Crowd and Fawlty Towers were added to the mix. The aforementioned shows were more than slightly irreverent and provided to our off-beat sense of humor. The world is a very serious place. We thought, what better way to bring some laughter to the world than to develop a line of clothing with a lovable character (Trevor), poke a little fun at the unique sayings and take the time to share a laugh or two! On a serious note, although our name is Drunken Kangaroo, we do not promote the use of alcohol. Please drink responsibly. NEVER drink and drive. If you do drink, please have your friends call you a cab so you can arrive home alive. A percentage of every sale is donated to Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD)
