Cheng Yew Heng Candy Factory Pte Ltd is Singapore's oldest sugar manufacturer. It started in 1947 producing Chinese candies like Hawthorne & preserved fruits but quickly switched to manufacturing Rock Sugar, Red/Black Jaggery Sugar in the 1950s.Today, the 3rd generation family business continues the tradition of manufacturing but also adding soft commodity trading, logistics and a food incubator in the list. The company is proud to produce "Made in Singapore" brands like Star, Cheng, Jewels Rock Sugar Sticks, D'Petite Baker, etc, for B2B as well as B2C in Singapore and the region. It is ISO22000, Halal, & Biz Safe accredited.Its soft commodity trading business division, established in 1996 focuses on Sugar, Rice, Wheat Flour, etc. The company is also a member of the Refined Sugar Association in London. In Singapore, the company supplies flour and sugar to distributors, industrial users, wholesalers and retailers with its own fleet of vehicles including bulk tankers. In 2018, Cheng Yew Heng launched Innovate 360, Singapore's 1st food facility incubator to help startups and companies commercialize food technology and food products by facilitating collaboration, research, and growth.
