Defence scientists working in the Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir developed several seabuckthorn-based products as part of efforts to develop highly nutritious foods based on berries and other plant species. Seabuckthorn Beverages has been closely associated and working with research community of Seabuckthorn based in Himachal Pradesh for the last 2-3 years for the development of Seabuckthorn based products.
