About a year ago, we were just a group of engineering students who shared a vision to empower other students to build their ideas. Our belief was that the most pressing global problems could be solved by nurturing the immense socio-cultural capital comprising students today. And so we invested in this capital, hosting technical workshops to equip students like us with skills they would need to bring their ideas to life. In Feb 2020, this culminated with us hosting UofT's first ever designathon, a 36 hour design sprint where high school to PhD level students came together to ideate, 3-D print and build their ideas in front of judges, professors and corporate sponsors.So this is what we do, year after year. We empower innovators to transform their ideas into reality and showcase them to the world.
