In 2004, our company was acquired by WealthTrust, LLC, an investment management holding company with collectively $6 billion in affiliated assets. In 2009, the firm returned to its roots as an independent investment adviser when its managing principals purchased all outstanding ownership interest from WealthTrust and formed Kingfisher Capital, LLC. As part of the transaction, all of the firm principals and employees remained with the firm.
