All aspects are developed in-house, from the mechanical design, electrical engineering, navigation and related software. AGILOX successfully created a new disruptive product group that will replace AGVs in the future utilizing real swarm intelligence and no restriction freedom of movement.IGVs - Intelligent Guided Vehicles - are characterized by the following features and key attributes:Real Swarm Intelligence allows direct communication between all the units, without the need for a centralized control system, resulting in a highly efficient and stable distribution of work orders and obstacle avoidance. Work orders are pushed to the swarm, where the various AGILOX determine which is best-suited to carry out the order, depending on various factors such as state of charge, distance to target, priority and time of creation.Orders are created and distributed in a multitude of ways, either through the web-based interface, internally created through schedules, station checks, barcode scanning or by being tied into systems such as SAP or similar.Constant communication between the AGILOX units allows for continuous route evaluation and dynamic routing by sharing live locations of all the units as well as temporary obstacles and route changes throughout the swarm.AGILOX Drive-units allow for a no restriction freedom of movement, giving the ability to rotate in a space as long as the unit itself, as well as parallel movements and beyond.
