Pardoo Beef Corporation (PBC) introduced a detailed Business Plan in July 2016 and as a project of State Significance for Western Australia, is transitioning to a world-class boxed beef export enterprise to provide high quality pure bred Wagyu beef for export to niche Asian markets. Over the next 5 years, PBC will invest approximately $100million on station, a further $200million with partners over the next 15 years, with an estimated $1.8billion annual economic contribution to the WA economy by 2031.To drive the business towards achieving its vision, further comprehensive plans have been developed for Land Tenure, Water Access, Research and Innovation and On-Farm Production.PBC is now looking to focus on developing a market development and implementation plan for exporting quality Pardoo Wagyu beef to niche Asian markets. The key objective of this is to create and service continued demand for Pardoo Wagyu and other Pardoo beef brands with production targeting 100,000 head by 2031.PBC is already exporting beef to China through an association with WA producer V&V Walsh, and a small dedicated marketing team is beginning to work in-market from Singapore, Hong Kong and Shanghai. PBC is seeking to appoint an experienced value chain marketing consultant to lead and manage the development of the Pardoo Market Development Plan (PMDP).
