Richlands Dairy Farm is a third generation, family owned dairy located in Blackstone, VA. We milk about 200 cows, twice per day and grow roughly 700 acres of corn and Marshall Rye Grass to harvest as feed. In addition to shipping commodity milk, we are in the process of building our own creamery. The addition of a creamery will allow us to pasteurize our milk and then direct market fluid milk and ice cream through a retail store. We are proud of our family heritage and enjoy sharing our love of agriculture through various open farm agritourism events throughout the year. Our goal is to provide the best possible care for our cows, practice good environmental stewardship and to provide an open and honest look into dairy farming.
